PARKING INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Seating in The S. Mark Taper Amphitheater is extremely limited. The Amphitheater reservation number is 818-623-4877.  IF YOU HAVE A CONFIRMED RESERVATION, YOU MAY PARK IN THE TREEPEOPLE PARKING LOT AT THE VENUE. As an alternative to reserved seating, there is ample room in the park surrounding the Amphitheater, affording some views of the stage, and allowing guests to spread out and picnic.  Importantly, there is limited parking at the venue, so guests without reservations should plan to either park and walk in, or for the more adventurous, park and hike in... DON'T FORGET TO BRING A FOLDING CHAIR!

-- PARK AND WALK IN -- 10 Minutes

Directly across from Coldwater Canyon Park entrance, at the major intersection of Mulholland and Coldwater Canyon, is Franklin Canyon Dr., a narrow street whose entrance says NO OUTLET and ROAD ENDS 800 FEET.   You can park on Franklin Canyon Dr.  Park, walk, then cross Mullholland/Coldwater at the stop light, directly into the Treepeople/Coldwater Canyon Park entrance that leads to the Amphitheater.

Approximate walking time to Amphitheater: 10 minutes
Suggest you Bring: Flashlight, Blanket, food and drinks, plastic bag to haul out your trash, no grills.
Suggest you Wear: Long pants, long sleeve shirt, tennis shoes.

-- PARK AND HIKE IN -- 20-25 Minutes Mark's Choice

Drive to Laurel Canyon Blvd. at Fryman Canyon (Approx. 1 mile North of Mullholland and 2 miles south of Ventura Blvd).  Park on Fryman Canyon and enter hiking trail/park.  Bring a flashlight. A well-marked trail leads you up into the Santa Monica Mountains and directly to the Taper Amphitheater and home of the Treepeople.  While parts of this trail are steep, it is not difficult otherwise. 

Approximate walking time to Amphitheater: 20-25 minutes
